Vidarbha resumed Day 4 on 147/4, with Yash Rathod and Akshay Wadkar occupying the crease. Their 158-run stand for the fifth wicket came to an end as Wadkar walked back on the score of 52 runs. Rathod had no support from the other end and batters could not resist the questions posed by Mumbai bowlers. The only sensible stand came when he batted along Parth Rekhade and put up 34 runs for the eighth wicket.
