The Effects of  Mercury in the Twelve Signs

If Mercury tenants Aries,
Or Scorpio constellation ,
Native adept at gambling ,
Also the pleasures of Bacchus.

They  being  Martan constelations,

Signifying  fraud,

Expert in fraudulent schemes,
And of dubious character !

If Mercury tenants ,
Taurus or Libra ,
Teacher the native becomes ,
With lots of children and wife .

Good at making largesse ,
With reverence to preceptors ,
And generous too ,
If Mercury tenants Gemini .

Native will have gift of gab
Expert in arts and sciences ,
Speaker of good words ,
And a hedonist too !

If Mercury tenants Cancer ,
Will be fond of travel ,
Will be inimical to the righteous ,
And will love watery spots !

If Mercury tenants,
Saturnine Signs ,
Capricorn or Aquarius ,
Will be subservient to others

Will be lacking in wealth
Fond of sculpture
Will be in debt
And burdened !

If Mercury tenants Sagittarius ,
Will get royal favors ,
Will be scholarly ,
And with knowledge of Law !
 
If Mercury tenants ,
Debilitating Sign ,
Pisces, the Sign of Fish ,
Will do low acts .

If with Neechabhanga,
Predict otherwise !
If Mercury tenants Leo,
Native will be devoid

Of wealth, women, progeny,
Fond of travel ,
Interested in women ,
And will fail in life !

If Mercury tenants ,
Exaltation Sign, Virgo
Will be knowledgeable ,
Will be patient & contented
