Being and Becoming
Purusha and Prakriti
He and She
Sah and Saa
Are inextricably entwined !
The Two in One !
She is fond of Him
Like the female beetle
In love with Tamala tree
She finds Bliss
In the Body of the Lord
May She who is all this
With Her Maya, Magic
Bestow Prosperity all round
By Her glance auspicious !
Vande vandaru mandara mindirananda kandalam
Amandananda sandoha bandhuram sindhura nanam
Like the bee black
Flitting about the flower lotus
Does the beautiful eyes dark
Of the Mother Divine
Fall on Lord Hari's face !
Let that glance divine
Be bestowed upon me
To bless me with Prosperity !
Angam hareh pulaka bhusana masrayanti
Bhrungow ganeva mukula bharanam tamalam
Angikruta khila vibhuti rapangaleela
Mangalyada stu mama mangala devatayah
Since the eyes of the Lord
Art in the realm of Bliss
Blissful in the Bliss of Self
Knowing not the eyes dark
Of the Universal Mother
Fall on His Lotus Face
Ever and ever in love
May that glance divine
Bless me with Prosperity !
Mugha muhurvidadhati vadane murareh
Prematrapa prani hitani gata gatani |
Maladrusormadhu Kariva mahotpaleya
Samesriyam disatusagara sambha vayah|
Not only is the Lord adorned
With the rosary holy
The beauteous glances
Of ravishing Lakshmi
The Goddess of Properity
Grace his face divine
May that glance mystic
Bless me with Prosperity !
Visva marendra pada vibhrama dana daksha
Mananda hetu radhikam mura vidviso pi
Easannisidatu mayi kshana mikshanardha
Mindivarodara sahodara mindirayah
She is like Lightning
Illuminating clouds dark
Wealth supra mundane
Resting on the Lord
May She, known as Bhargavi
Daughter of Bhargava, Sage
Grant auspiciousness
On this humble devotee !
Amilita ksha madhigamya
mudamukunda
Mananda kanda manimesa mananga tantram
Akekarasthita Kaninika pakshma Netram
Bhutyai bhavenmama bhujanga sayanganayah
As he was the receipient of Grace
Kalambuda lilalitorasi kaitabhare
rdharadhare sphurati ya thati daganeva
Matussa masta jagatam mahaniya murti
Rbhadrani me disatu bhargava nandanayah
Bahvantare murajitah srita kowstubeya
Haravaliva harinilamayi vibhati
Kamaprada bhagavato pikatakshamala
Kalyana mavahatu mekamala layayah
