We call upon Infant Ganesh and the Lord
And Mother Divine born in
the Heavens
To perform this auspicious Pooja
Bless us always !
When Purusha mated with Prakriti
Lord Ganesh was born !
The Lord became the male elephant
And She the female
When they revelled in ecstasy
Mother Divine became pregnant !
She gave birth to a brilliant Boy,
With tusks and a pot belly !
